The Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies would like to invite you to the launch of Chosen: Living with adoption.
John Simmonds (BAAF Director of Policy, Research and Development) and Perlita Harris will speak, and contributors – including comedian, Joy Carter, award-winning writer, Catherine Chanter and award-winning short story writer and novelist, Vanessa Gebbie – will read from the book. There will also be a Q&A session on the challenges, opportunities and lifelong impact of living with adoption. Chosen brings together the writing and poetry of over 50 UK adopted adults,, including transnationally adopted people. To bok a place, please RSVP to: P.Harris@gold.ac.uk
