Event overview
`Psychotherapy takes place in the overlap of two areas of playing, that of the patient and that of the therapist. Psychotherapy has to do with two people playing together' (Winnicott, 1971)
Art Psychotherapy is about creating a facilitating space in which clients can feel safe to work through emotional issues or needs by using different art media. In this process, therapist, client and art work begin a journey together
In our current society where so many rights are under attack, this exhibiton advocates the right to imagine, the right to show our needs in a different way and the possibility of grasping moments and experiencing them through image
MA Art Psychotheapy students would like to share how they have been given by art materials different opportunities to approach with their own reality. They invite the visitor to join this arena, in which play and reality become inseparable
