Event overview
MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy - Caroline Frizell Programme Convenor
Being grounded in the non-verbal, sensory nature of our experience is as crucial to our understanding of inner and outer worlds, as is our cognitive and intellectual acuity. ‘The world’ (yours, mine and theirs) appears to be in turmoil; and if you read the papers you get a sense that this is not least from an ecological and a psychological perspective.
This session offers the opportunity to consider the interface between Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) and Ecopsychology in relation to environmental concerns. That area, between one place and another, offers us the potential space in which we can discover and rediscover ever new ways of sharing the earth as our home and to co-create communities in which the individual can connect to a wider ecology.
If you’d like to come, please bring with you something representing your relationship with the wider ecology.
