Event overview
7201
The Research Centre for Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement will be hosting a sequence of events in 2011 under the broad heading 'Dimensions of Locality'. These will be about social cohesion and how the academy now visualises its responsibilities to its immediate local environment.
The first session, a collaboration with the widening participation unit, will be on part-time adult education, the second on research and the community .The third session engages with the issue of religion and civil society, while the fourth focuses on community-based arts. The final session, being planned for December 2011, will be on professional education and training.
With the exception of the first, all events will be free of charge. We are hoping for as wide a representative audience as possible. All welcome.
If you would like to attend any of the events please contact S.Marcantuono@gold.ac.uk
