A new musical play by Melody Parker directed by Ken Breinburg and performed by L'Ouverture's young people aged 13-18.
For three weeks over the School Summer Holiday, young people, aged 13-18, from several London Boroughs have been working with L'Ouverture on a new musical play by Melody Parker directed by Ken Breinburg.
L'Ouverture works with socially disadvantaged young people, primarily in Lambeth schools and community centres, developing their confidence and social skills through theatre, music, dance and the arts.
The Summer Performance project has been funded by Aspire, Lambeth Arts and IdeasTap, a subsidiary of the Peter de Haan Charitable Trust.
This play celebrates the drive and commitment of young Londoners as they spread awareness of and take action against climate change.
