Event overview
This event, hosted by final year Community Music students, will showcase the diversity and relevance of Community Music as a discipline and the Goldsmiths course as a valuable resource for students, employers and potential partnerships.
Community is really at the heart of what music is all about and the final year students of the Certificate in Workshop Skills (Music) course know all about bringing people together through music.
The event will provide cross-sector networking opportunities and demonstrate the versatility of Community Music in a variety of social contexts.
Short taster sessions focusing on specific fields of relevance will be followed by a larger group experience, an opportunity to network with community music students and professionals, prospective students, partners, employers and funders.
We will also be hosting a collaboration with a Goldsmiths student or staff body as a highlight to what promises to be a fun, exciting and insightful afternoon.
The first of it's kind, this event is a not-to-be-missed celebration of over 20years of Community Music at Goldsmiths and is funded by the Goldsmiths Annual Fund.
