Creating Conversations: Sharing and Listening Through the Arts All-day workshop fest within the greater Telegraph Hill Festival Led by Goldsmiths Applied Theatre Students.
You and the whole family are invited to choose from a diverse selection of workshops exploring several genres of performance from puppetry, music and movement. There will also be socially engaged sessions.
You are free to come for one session or stay for the whole day!

Re-Telling Indigenous Naga Myths in Everyday Lives
We will be exploring indigenous folk narratives through theatrical performances and
elements to discover a common language.
(For adults aged 18+)

Me and the World: Capturing Stories Across Time and Place
Inspired by life and world events, we will build a collective story through writing and
performance, and reflect on it together!
(For those aged 14+)

Do We Allow Ourselves to be Silly?
Through introductory clowning exercises explore to what extent you permit yourself to
be silly in everyday life. Games and reflections alternate themselves in a rollercoaster of
laughter and provocation.

Un-Performing Black Masculinity Through Performance
Creating a safe space to explore black masculinity through collective sharing and creation. Let's have dialogue through words, movement, and music!
(For black men aged 20+)

Paper Dreams: A Puppet-Telling Experience
Enter a magical land. Let the puppets lead you into the world of their dreams.
Humans experience reality with five senses. Come and find out how many senses a
puppet has.

Re-Discovering Old Stories with Live Music
All levels of music and storytelling experience welcome.
Come and play with cellist Felicity Smith and storyteller Kim Posthumus. Revisit well
known folk tales, infusing them with the magic of original music.
(For ages 6-100)

Exploring the Self and Connection through Movement
An experimental workshop using movement with awareness. Please wear comfortable,
old clothes (layers are best) - we may wish to move on the floor or use art materials.
(Suitable for everyone 16 years and over.)

London Tales: Mapping and Sharing our Stories of the City
Throughout the morning we invite you to come and give away your stories, then take a walk through other people's London as we build our own very special city map.

The Double Frame Game: Playing our Social Media Profiles vs. Our Real Lives #nofilter
Using life size picture frames and handmade hashtags, we will perform our social media profile in playful real time (IRL) with the goal of exploring our curated lives.
(For those aged 14+ with social media accounts)

Q is for Questioning? A playful workshop for LGBTQ folks, friends and allies
Learn ways to show consideration and kindness to people of varied genders and sexual orientations.
(For all ages!)
